Swimming at Shaver Lake

Swimming at the Waterfall:
This is Kasen and Cailey hiking up the waterfall while the kids swam down at the bottom.

For some reason, the waterfall was swarming in lady bugs.
Aunt Lori and Grandpa kept getting bit by them.
I didn't know that lady bugs could bite? Apparently we made them mad :)
This is Bridger showing off the one that he caught:

This was Saxon's favorite place to swim.
He kept begging to go back and swim at the waterfall.

Swimming at the Beach:
We had to get Bridger some floaties because his life-jacket kept tipping him over.
Once he had his floaties on, we couldn't keep him out of the water.
If I would look away for one second, Bridger would be swimming out into the lake.
He's such a little fish!

Uncle Kasen keeping an eye on the water baby for me...

Swimming at Stevenson Cove:
We love taking the boat over to Stevenson Cove and having a picnic and jumping off the rocks. My kids aren't quite big enough for the jumping rock yet, but they loved swimming around by it anyway.

Boating

We're so lucky that my mom has a boat and that she takes my kids out so much.
They LOVED the boat!
We went out just for rides, for water sports, for picnics, and to tour the lake.
Saxon loved his seat up front, but Bridger liked to wander around and visit everyone.

Grandpa Gregg let all of the kids have a turn driving.
It was crazy!
Saxon does a pretty good job with some help from Grandpa.
Bubby kept shoving Gregg's hands away so that he could do it all by himself.
Both kids knew where Gregg kept the ipod and would hold it up and beg him to play "We Will, We Will Rock You." They LOVE that song. They call it the "BYU" song and they both dance along to it...

Saxon cuddling with Great Grandpa Roy and Jenna:

Picnic at Stevenson Cove:

On one of our boat rides, Saxon just wanted to snuggle with Grandpa Roy.
Pretty soon, he fell asleep.
Then Chloe leaned over and fell asleep on Saxon.
So, Jenna leaned over to snuggle with Grandpa too, and we got some cute pictures:

Bridger snuggled in to me and fell asleep, and we had a relaxing boat ride with all of the sleepy kids...

Thanks Mom and Gregg for all of the boat rides!
We had so much fun!!!

The Beach

At Shaver Lake we spend the week camping, but spend everyday playing on the beach or on the boat. Saxon and Bridger loved throwing water balloons, feeding the ducks, playing with the sand toys, and spending time with cousins. Saxon loved Grandpa Gregg's big squirt guns. He would hold one in his hands and one between his legs so that no one could take the blue ones. Bridger loved the ducks! Grammie showed him how to feed the ducks, but he would still go chasing them out into the water before he would throw the food and scare most of the off. It was so fun!
