Strawberry Days - Rodeo

Last week we went to the Strawberry Days Rodeo.
It's our favorite rodeo for a million reasons, but also that it's so close :)

The boys always dress up:
Bridger and Dalton didn't want their pictures taken:
Saxon got annoyed with taking a million pictures:
And everybody wore their belt buckles from Pops:

We always get there early so we can watch mutton bustin'.
Saxon wants to do it soooo bad!
Unfortunately, he's not old enough.
And by the time he's old enough, he will be too big.
(you have to be under 50 pounds and over 6)
Poor guy.
Dalton was devastated when the boys got to go chase the cash cow.
He was dying to go, but we were afraid that he would get trampled.
So poor little guy had to sit with me.

It's hard to tell, but you can spot Bridger's white shirt in the picture:

At the end, Bridger got lost trying to get out was the last kid out there.
The bull-fighter had to come out and try to steer him in the right direction.
But the bull-fighter didn't know where he was supposed to go either, and Bridger kept running away from him...
So Nate sent Saxon back over the fence to go get Bridger.
Then they both finally made it out.
By this time, even the announcer was making jokes about it :)

Not that you can tell by Bridger's face, but everyone loved their strawberries and cream.

Mike bought Dalton his very own and he was in heaven!

The Nate face:
And this is his "would you leave me alone already!" face:

Dalton's cool boots from Aunt BB:
This is the first year with the kids that we've made it through the entire rodeo and even stayed for the fireworks after.  We loved it!
