Dear Nate...

Dear Nate,
I don't know if you have a computer to look at this, but we wanted to tell you what we've been up to anyway...

Monday: We stayed home and pouted that you will be gone all week. Saxon kept asking for you since he fell asleep and couldn't say goodbye to you. That evening, Mike took us and Jeff & Meg to see UP. It was so cute! We saw the 3D one and Saxon loved every minute. He went from watching intently, to repeating every word (I'm sure to the pleasure of those sitting around us). He got so excited that he kept grabbing the seat in front of him and pulling the poor lady's hair. He wouldn't eat his dinner before because he was too excited to have popcorn.

Tuesday: We spent the morning at Jamie's house. Saxon thinks it's the coolest place he's ever been. The boys all chased the ducks and jumped on the trampoline. After lunch, Jamie gave them popsicles and Bridger held onto the ice so he could suck on the stick.
Saxon rode bikes and ran and played and cried his eyes out when it was time to go. Then, despite my best efforts, he fell asleep on the way home. You know what that means...yep, he was up til midnight.

After the kids slept, Mike came over and took us to the Mayan. We got an awesome table where we could see everything! Saxon was so excited! It was the best he's ever been at a restaurant. He got splashed by the divers and loved it. The food was ok, but we'll have to take him back again just so you can see how excited he was. Mike was joking that if only every restaurant had cliff divers and waterfalls, then we could take Saxon to more restaurants. :)

Of course, he couldn't bring himself to give me a normal smile...

Neither could Bridger. He was happy as long as we let him eat Saxon's french fries.

So, we don't have any big plans for today. The weather has been cloudy, so no pool. :( We miss you and we love you. We can't wait for you to come home!
