Strawberry Days Rodeo

A little over a week ago, my mom came into town to help us move.
She brought furniture, helped us put the house together, and went to the rodeo with us!
Brooke came with her and Kasen was already here with us :)

We LOVE the Strawberry Days Rodeo!
The kids got to chase the cash cow:

Poor Dalton had to stay back and watch because you have to be 6 to chase the cow.
He was devastated!!!
He's a brave little thing but we didn't want him trampled by a cow or by bigger kids :)
Saxon caught up with the cow at the end, but the money was already gone.

Saxon LOVED the rodeo!
He wanted to stay all night.
I wish we could have but my mom had driven all day to get there and was tired, Dalton was determined to fall off the bleachers, Bridger was tired and I was exhausted from being 9 months pregnant and sitting in the bleachers.
We stayed for most of it but had to leave early and Saxon and Kasen were bummed.
Don't let this grouchy face fool you...
He really does like the rodeo, he just refuses to cooperate for pictures.

And the wild and crazy and reckless baby.
I seriously don't know what to do with him sometimes...

Grammie and the 3 cowboys.
All the boys were wearing their "Grand Slam Club" belt buckles from Pops.
And...Aunt Brookie and Uncle Kasen!
It was a whirlwind of a weekend!
On Thursday my mom got into town with the truck load of stuff for us and for Gregor.
We got the keys to our new house that night and then went straight to the rodeo!
Early Friday morning, Saxon had BYU basketball camp and my mom and I searched all of Utah Valley for couches.  (Luckily we found some).
Meanwhile, Nate's family came over to help him move as much as they could from our condo to our new house.  (House updates to come...)
Saturday was another round of basketball camp and Nate's dad came back to work on our yard while Melinda helped Nate paint and unload everything with her truck.
Sunday my mom had to leave, but Gregor and Joy came over to help.
What would we do without family?  I'm so grateful for everyone's help!
