Snow Day #2

It finally snowed again, and my kids were dying to go play in it!
They couldn't even wait until it stopped snowing, we had to go out in the middle of the snow storm...
I got them all bundled up and then pulled them around the grass on the sled.
Saxon LOVES the snow...
Dalton LOVES the snow...
Bridger...doesn't love the snow...he doesn't like being cold and wet and he gets bored.  He's my baby!  I don't love the snow either.

Bridger's snow angels:

Dalton is a little snow bunny and I just couldn't get enough of him!
He wanted to do everything!
He threw snow balls, he build a snowman, he wanted to go sledding, and he stood in the storm with his face turned up and his tongue out so he could even taste the snow...so cute!

Our little snowman.  Unfortunately, it crashed right after we build it.
Oh well...it is still snowing outside so I'm sure we'll get another chance :)

Cheese

I was taking pictures of some cookies that I made the other day, and since I had my camera out, the boys were giving me their cheesiest smiles :)  I couldn't resist taking some pictures:

I can't get enough of cute cheesy smiles!
Bridger used to do a funny, cheesy smile when he was little too :)
Love it!

Mr. Independent

Isn't it amazing how kids think that they are "big" from the time they are tiny?
My babies are always trying to copy us or copy bigger kids.
Saxon, who is officially "big" at 5 years old, is always asking if he can drive!

Last night, Dalton decided to show us how big he was by brushing is own teeth:
He started out with "big kid toothpaste".
His is the "baby toothpaste" without fluoride since he swallows it still.
The blue toothpaste is Saxon's.
Showing off his clean teeth:
And he's very proud of himself for being so big!
Each of my kids tries to be "big" faster than the last.
They have to keep up with the big brothers :)
Next year Saxon will be in kindergarten and Bridger will be in preschool.
I'm kind of sad...I'm not ready for them to be so big!

Baby Bell Pepper

Dalton loves raw veggies.
When we work in the garden, he would pick whatever he could and eat it right there.  Everything I brought home had bites out of it (squash, cucumber, tomato, green beans, etc.)  The other day he got into the fridge and pulled out a bell pepper and started eating it like an apple.  Nate cut it in half for him and took out the seeds and let him go for it.  He must take after his aunt Brookie :)

LOVE the cheesy smile too!

Valentine's Day

On Valentine's Day, I dressed the boys in red and made them pose for me on the couch.
Notice Bridger's army arm warmers?  He picked those out himself.  I thought he did a good job!  They looked really cute with his rockband shirt.
Here we are trying to get everyone to smile at the same time:
And again:
For Valentine's Day we bought the big boys each a box of See's candy, and Dalton got a pack of heart shaped Peeps.  When I was buying the See's, Britt asked why I didn't just get them chocolates from Target.  The same size box is $1 as opposed to the $6 at See's, and the boys wouldn't know the difference.  I told her that See's is special.  My mom always got me See's, and I want to get my boys See's.
Well...I handed them all their Valentine's candy and Saxon and Bridger immediately started to whine that it wasn't fair that Dalton got Peeps and all they got was chocolate!  What?!?  So the big boys ate Dalton's peeps, and Dalton at the See's.  Next year I'm listening to Britt and saving myself a ton of money.  Everyone is getting peeps.
Bridger has decided recently:
"I don't like chocolate!  I like vanilla!"
Notice Bridger's disappointed face in all of these?
LOL...Oh well.  Next time I'll know better :)

Silly

The boys were looking through some old pictures and found the ones of them from about a year ago playing in the Sharky Tent.  They wanted to reenact that day by getting out the Sharky Tent and taking more pictures.  I agreed to be the photographer :)

Not sure the baby was really thrilled about the idea though...

However, once he realized that I would be taking pictures, he started hamming it up:

Bridger doing naked-except-for-the-Captain-America-mask yoga, and Dalton showing off his goof troop teeth.
Funny boys!

Valentines

We spent all weekend trying to get Saxon to finish signing his Valentine's for his class:
Every time I would turn away for a second, he would go back to his PSP and ignore his valentines.

He started off doing a really good job:
Then he got creative:
Happy Valentine's Day!!

January Artwork

Here is some of Saxon's artwork from January:

They learned about seasons, Chinese New Year, and Groundhog Day.
Saxon sure loves his school!  He's going to miss it next year!

N-week

This week was "N-week" for Field-Trip-Fridays.
We went to a museum in Lehi to learn about "Native Americans."
The boys ground corn, read a story, felt a coyote skin, and made a teepee.
They loved it!
Afterward, we wandered around the museum for a little bit before it was time to get Saxon from preschool.

Dalton tried on all of the hats:
And Bridger did too once someone suggested that he would look like "Indiana Jones":

(This is the "Indiana Jones" hat)
Bridger discovered a bear cave and wanted to spend the whole time there.
And we all thought this potty chair was pretty cool:

Both boys posing next to the display of ancient fish:

It was such a cool museum!  There was a jail room downstairs that was used until the 1980's!  The museum was kind of a mix of relics from Utah's history, but it was really cool!  I'd never been before or heard of it, but I'm sure we will go back.  The kids loved it!
