Winter

Here it is! Aren't they funny?! Thanks for sending it to me Lisa!!!

This is our weather right now...AWFUL! It has been stormy for days and no hope of letting up. So, since I'm stuck inside, I decided to take pictures of Bridger in his warm winter clothes...
This is Bridger in his cute leg warmers. Saxon thinks they are "CARS" sleeves. You know, the checkered flag...
And this, is Bridger dressed like a little glow worm. Uncle Kenny got this outfit for Saxon on his first Christmas, and now Bridger is wearing it on his first Christmas.


And speaking of Uncle Kenny, this is the funniest Christmas card I have ever seen! This is Kenny, Lisa, and Alice saying Merry Christmas. I love it! I laughed all day after I got this! I miss baby Alice. Look how cute she is! Lisa made their matching outfits. I want to get the full picture because Kenny is wearing Lisa's red pants and Lisa is wearing green shorts and candy-cane striped socks with fur on top. I'll post it as soon as I get it. Saxon loves this picture because it is his baby "Lalice." We love you guys! Thanks for making us laugh...

Snow Angels

Saxon had a BLAST sledding down Andi's hill. Of course, he is wearing his Lightening McQueen rain boots. We don't go anywhere (church included) without the boots.

Notice the Chex Mix in every picture? Saxon wouldn't put gloves on because that would make it harder to eat caramel chex mix.

This is Saxon's very first snow angel. He didn't really get it. His angel has arms instead of wings. We'll have to keep practicing...

Bridger looked so cute in his snow-baby outfit. He was so cozy that he fell asleep when I put him in it. Luckily, he woke up in time to ham it up for pictures!

Planning his next move...

Building a snowman. Apparently, I am not a pro at snowmen. Ours only had the bottom ball. I promised Caden we would have to try again a different day. He said, "how about tonight when it's dark?" So Andi promised him that his dad would take him to build snowmen in the dark tonight. Lucky Ryan!

This was Saxon's contribution to the snowmen. He raked up the snow and rode the scooter around us in circles.

Look at those blue eyes! He is such a doll. I love him!!!

Saxon Stories

This is how we blog. Saxon tells me "I push," which means he is constantly pushing buttons while I type. He is sooo helpful! He loves to blog because he loves to see himself. Especially the videos. He dances along with himself doing the "booty dance."
While I've been typing this, Saxon reached over and crashed his new Dinoco McQueen car into my head. I opened my mouth to yell at him and he leaned in and gave me the biggest, wettest kiss ever, right on the lips so I couldn't yell at him. How do you argue with that?
Brittany came over today to run errands with us. While we were loading the car seats in the car, Saxon disappeared. We both started screaming his name. Then Brittany heard, "Hi BB!" from down the street. In the minute that we were looking down to load the seats, he had made it all the way down the street to the playground. He was on top of the slide catching snowflakes with his new Curious George from BB on his shoulders. This is him running back to BB to get in the car. He almost gave me a heart-attack!
When I was tucking Saxon into bed tonight he said that he wanted to hold the baby. I set Bridger on his lap and he kept trying to turn Bridger on him tummy. I asked him what he was doing and he said "I milk Buby" and lifted up his shirt to try and milk the baby. I tried to explain that only mommies milk babies, but he didn't think that was fair at all. This is Saxon being a good big brother and reading bedtime stories to Bridger by light of the head-lamp.

We made mint cookies, sugar cookies, oreo cookies, and m&m cookies all in one night! It was a mess, but hopefully everyone we give them to will love them. They better because it was a TON of work! :)

Did he say what I think he said? We're not actually sure. We think he was telling Brittany's dog "Beau" to sit, but it definitely sounds like something else...

Gingerbread House

Grandpa and Grandma Sonnenberg brought over a gingerbread house for Saxon to make. He ate most of the candy before we even started, but it was still fun! Thanks Gp and Gm!

When I put Bridger down last night, I was sitting on the bed reading and watching him sleep and thinking about how lucky I am to have two gorgeous kids! I wish I spent more time just appreciating my kids and teaching them and less time trying to just get everything done. I came across and Ensign article by President Hinckley called "These, Our Little Ones," and here are some of my favorite quotes...

"If you are worried about the future, then look to the upbringing of your children."

This is Aunt Brittany teaching Saxon the booty dance. If you look carefully, Bridger starts rocking out with them. He's in the jumpy on the left :) Lucky for Saxon, Aunt Brittany is a rock star!

Date Night

FUNNY DAY
Here's a couple funny Saxon stories from today:
-Saxon woke up this morning and wanted a cliff bar for breakfast. I gave him one and he went into his room to eat it. When I went in there a while later, there was chocolate smeared all over his sheets. I said "Oh no! What happened?" He looked at me with his surprised face and said, "um...Uh-ohh! I pooped." "It's poop?" I asked, because it was definitely chocolate. He looked at it for a minute and just said "Uh-huh." Apparently I must have used my 'don't poop in your undies voice' so he automatically assumed that poop must be the problem.
-Later, we went to Wal-mart to pick up a few things. As we were walking down the aisle, Saxon grabbed two loofa sponges and started cheering "GO BROOKIE GO! GO FOOTBALL GO!" He must have thought they were pom-poms and wanted to be just like his Aunt Brookie. He had so much fun watching her cheer at her game in California that he still remembers.


Brittany came over to play with Saxon and take him on a date to see Madagascar 2 tonight. After doing the "Shake your Booty Dance" for a while, they went to the show and left me with some rare one on one time with my Bridger bug.



Saxon was so worn out from his date night, that he slept through dinner :) Brittany has all the cute "date night" pictures, so I'll have to post them later...
