On Saturday, after the pirate party, Mike invited us to drive up to Crystal Hot Springs.
He had a Groupon for it and wanted to try it out.
We were thrilled to get to try out something new :)
It's north of Odgen, so it was a 2 hour drive to get there, but it was SO FUN!
They have a big pool with mineral water that they keep at 100 degrees. It was warm enough to feel good on a cold day, but not so hot that you feel like you want to get out after a little while. In fact, we stayed in the water for 2 hours! They also had a cold pool that the kids kept diving in. We could hardly keep the baby out of the cold pool. He's crazy. We had to force him back into the warm pool when he started turning blue.
We had so much fun that Mike bought another Groupon so we can go again!
The boys have been talking about it ever since and begging to go back. It was so fun to be able to go swimming (outside) in the middle of the winter in Utah.
Being 2 hours away, it kind of felt like a roadtrip. We all felt like we went out of town for the day. The place wasn't fancy at all, but it's going to be one of our new favorite spots!
