We made a point to be at home and go outside to see the solar eclipse that just happened. We didn't have glasses, but we thought we would be able to see something.
When we got there, it was totally cloudy.
My kids had a blast though because all of the neighborhood kids were outside.
The sun finally came through, but without the solar glasses, it just looked like the sun...
One of our neighbors built a box to see the shadow of the sun. It worked really well! The kids thought it was fun even though I don't think they really understood what was happening. Oh well. At least they will remember that we tried :)
