Saxon's 4th B-day Party!

AUGUST 15, 2010

The day after Gregor's wedding (since everyone was still in town) we had Saxon's 4th Birthday Party. He picked "How to Train Your Dragon" for the theme and Mike made the invites for us:

I made chocolate/peanut butter viking cupcakes, and Brookie and I painted dragons to guard the entrance to the party:

We also had a dragon craft and a dragon pinata:

Everyone was still in town from the wedding and they all came to Saxon's party!
It was so fun!!!
We usually can't do a "family party" for my kids because we don't have a lot of family around, so this was really special.

Saxon LOVED all of his presents.
He was so excited and everything he got was SO PERFECT for him!

Jared and Spencer and Saxon and Bridger all got to hit the pinata.
None of them hit it hard enough to do any real damage, so finally we let Uncle Kasen take a turn and crack it open for them:

Here is Saxon blowing out his candles...
I made the viking horns out of marshmallow fondant and one of the candles was too close and a horn caught on fire. It was so funny. All of the sudden it started to smell like s'mores and then the flame got taller :) Saxon still managed to blow everything out in one big breath:

These are the "Thank You" cards that went on the party bags.
Once again...Mike made them for us :)

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who came to Saxon's party!
It was so fun to spend some more time with everyone.
We love you all!!!
