Mr. Sweet Potato Head

Bridger loves sweet potatoes!

10 Months
Bridger turned 10 months on May 31, here's what he's up to:
-He can pull himself up on anything (including the walls) and walk around all the furniture.
-He can stand for a few seconds alone.
-He has 2 top teeth and 2 bottom teeth.
-He already chipped one of his top teeth when he fell (I was so sad).
-He babbles all the time in his deep little voice, but no real words.
-He is a fabulous napper! He will take good naps and then stay in his crib and play quietly when he wakes up. How did I get so lucky!
-He HATES being trapped. If everyone else gets to be free, then he wants to be free. He freaks out if he has to be put in his stroller or car seat.
-No more baby food. At his 9 month checkup, Dr. Wilcox said that if he could chew real food, it was time to be done with baby food. So, since his appointment, only real food. Mostly steamed veggies and fruits.
-He LOVES the pool! He actually likes to be dunked too, it's funny. He just floats around on his little floatie ring and is happy as can be.
-He loves the bath too! He stands up and walks back and forth around the front of the tub. He sticks his little head as far outside of the tub as he can so I can't wash his hair.
-He loves books. He empties out every book shelf in my house. I am constantly finding books all over his room. He pulls out all of my scrapbooks too.
-He loves Saxon's CARS cars, and Saxon is always taking them away.
-He can't live without his bottle pets. He carries them around the house.
-He's got such a cute little personality now. This summer is going to be so fun!

Saxon story:
We went to visit Grandpa and Grandma last night. Saxon had been begging to go see them, so we called to see if we could drive up. Saxon got out every toy in their house, then followed Grandma around everywhere. He loves her! She let him eat the oreo cookies and then gave him apple juice for the ride home. He fell asleep on the way home and I carried him to bed. He woke up at 1:00 a.m. crying for Grandma. He was hysterical. He did not want me or Nate, he only wanted Grandma. We finally calmed him down by convincing him that we would go back to Grandma and Grandpa's house soon. Then he asked for a sippy cup and Nate brought him one. He took one sip and started sobbing all over again. "I need Grandma's apple juice!" Since we didn't have any of Grandma's apple juice, he cried until about 3:00 a.m. when he finally wore himself out. So Grandpa and Grandma...can we come visit again sometime? Saxon likes you guys better than he likes us :)
